About Me

For the past 3 decades I have specialised professionally in making and repairing guitars and other fretted instruments . I graduated in Musical Instrument Design and Technology at the London Metropolitan University, (formerly London College of Furniture). I also have a B.Ed degree in Design and Technology from Greenwich University and a Northern Council for Further Education (NCFE) diploma in Contemporary Music (Guitar). I then went on to work extensively within the music trade acquiring a large customer base, which includes music shops, music workshops, schools, music conservatoires and music teachers. My specialities are in the design and making of acoustic instruments such as small bodied and jumbo size steel strung guitars, mandolas and mandolins. I have also undertaken various electric guitar commissions both six string and bass. I have a wealth of experience in instrument repair, fretted and non fretted. My workshop is based in South East London and is fully equipped to handle any commission eventuality and repair problems that may present themselves.
